ADMA-Y Retreat 2025

One Hope. One Step. One Heart.
ADMA-Y Retreat 2025

Friday, June 6, 2025 - Sunday, June 8, 2025

This year’s retreat centered around a powerful and timely theme: One Hope. One Step. One Heart.

One Hope – At our core, we all long for the same thing: to live fully in God’s love and, one day, to be united with Him in heaven.
One Step – Every journey, no matter how long, begins with a single step. What step are you being called to take this weekend?
One Heart – Though we come from different places and walk different paths, we are united, one heart, one Church, one family in Christ.

This theme echoed the spirit of this year’s Strenna: “Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with Young People.”

But what does it mean to be anchored in hope?

An anchor holds a ship steady in the storm. In much the same way, hope, especially hope rooted in Christ, grounds us when life feels uncertain, when the waters around us feel too deep, too rough. Hope doesn't promise a life without hardship, but it reminds us that we are not alone in the struggle. It is the quiet voice that whispers, “Things can get better.” It’s the light that keeps flickering when everything else feels dark.

And yet, we know hope is fragile. It can be hard to hold on to when we're faced with suffering, when we lose someone we love, when relationships break, when the future we dreamed of suddenly disappears. In those moments, hope can feel far away.

But this is exactly why we need it.

This retreat reminds us that hope is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline.
It gives us strength to heal.
It gives us courage to take the next step.
It brings us together as one heart.

As we journey through this Jubilee Year, a time of renewal, healing, and restoration, we’re invited to anchor ourselves in hope more deeply than ever. Hope tells us that what’s broken can be mended. That what’s lost can still be found. That no matter how far we’ve fallen or how heavy our burdens, God’s love makes new beginnings possible.

So we ask:
What step are you being called to take today?
How can you live with a heart open to love, ready to serve, and rooted in hope?

Let us move forward together with one hope, one step, and one heart.

ADMA-Y would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Fr. Peter Duoc Le, SDB, for generously opening the doors of the mission center to us and for accompanying us throughout this retreat weekend. Your unwavering support and guidance were instrumental in making this time of reflection and renewal possible.

Thank you for your presence, your wholehearted dedication, and your quiet yet powerful witness of faith. In your gentle constancy, you reflect the spirit of Don Bosco with striking clarity. You live the Salesian charism not only in your words, but in every action, every smile, and every moment of attentive presence.

For many of us, you are the first Salesian priest we’ve encountered who so clearly embodies the joy, love, and pastoral heart of Don Bosco. Your openness, your care, and your willingness to truly see and walk with us have left a lasting impression.

Thank you for being a spiritual father, a guide, and a light for our community and for the youth. We are truly blessed by your example and your vocation
