Salesian Mission Center Volunteering
Saturday, April 26, 2025
ADMA-Y began the morning by sharing breakfast and attending Mass together. Following that, we made our way to the Don Bosco Mission Center in Boyle Heights, where we joined efforts to make burritos for those in need. Working alongside fellow members of the Salesian Family offered our participants a meaningful experience of unity and service.
This weekend marked the fourth monthly outreach by the Works of Mercy Team at the Don Bosco Mission Center, as they prepared and wrapped over 200 burritos to distribute to the homeless throughout the Los Angeles area. Despite the rainy weather, the young people of ADMA Youth from St. Dominic Savio Church generously volunteered their time and burrito-wrapping skills to serve our unhoused brothers and sisters.
A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Peter Duoc Le, SDB, for his steadfast leadership and dedication in sustaining this mission center, and for providing opportunities for youth to live out their faith through acts of mercy.
